Our history 

Following the sight that beholds a path of a great artist that my father was, in his journey, through the wood work creating art, genuity and authenticity, I came back to follow these paths. 

When I remember my childhood, the image that reoccurs to me is that of an infant playing with pieces of wood and recalling the everlasting smell of wood that is still engraved in my memory. As many children of the 60s, my time was divided between the school and the carpentry workshop of my father. 

I was a “wld lm3ellem” (the son of the master; my father’s backup) since then, I have undertaken the continuity of the woodworking art, carpentry and the know-how as a responsibility to take over this heritage; thus, my interest and devotion to woodwork. 

Wood in Mood is indeed the logical continuity of a work that has started since 1931. The woodwork, within our family, was a diversity between traditional and contemporary creation (artisanal, rustic, Louis XIV style, cubic style of the 60s and 70s…) to come down now to abstract creation.
